AetherisAETH
An open-source PoW/PoS cryptocurrency built on Scrypt, featuring dedicated mobile wallet app.

An open-source UTXO Layer 1 blockchain secured by five PoW mining algorithms and approximately 15-second blocks.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
DigiByte is an open-source, public UTXO blockchain launched on 10 January 2014. It was created to support fast digital payments, decentralized applications, digital assets and blockchain-based authentication without being controlled by a central company or chief executive.
The DigiByte network uses MultiAlgo Proof of Work. Mining is distributed across five algorithms: SHA-256, Scrypt, Skein, Qubit and Odocrypt. Each algorithm has an independent difficulty calculation and is intended to contribute approximately 20% of the network’s blocks. This structure reduces the network’s dependence on any single mining algorithm or hardware category.
DigiByte targets a block approximately every 15 seconds. Its maximum supply is fixed at 21 billion DGB, with block rewards reducing by approximately 1% each month rather than following a four-year halving cycle. The full supply is scheduled to be mined by approximately 2035.
The wider DigiByte ecosystem includes DigiAssets for blockchain-based asset issuance, Digi-ID for decentralized authentication and DigiDollar, a protocol-native stablecoin backed by DGB collateral. DigiByte Core, its reference node and wallet software, is publicly developed through the DigiByte-Core GitHub repository.
