PROJECT OVERVIEW

About Crynux

Crynux (CNX) is a decentralized AI compute network that connects applications with GPU resources contributed by independent node operators. The network supports workloads including large language model inference, vision-language tasks, image generation and model fine-tuning.

Crynux’s first production mainnet release, Lithium Network, operates on Base. Node operators can contribute compatible GPUs to execute AI tasks and receive CNX rewards, while applications use CNX to pay for computation.

The network uses blockchain-based coordination, staking, node-performance scoring and its vssML verification design to help detect incorrect or malicious computation. Crynux combines on-chain coordination with an off-chain Relay for AI task data that would be impractical to store directly on-chain.

CNX is the utility and governance token of the Crynux ecosystem. It is used for AI task payments, node rewards, staking and participation in Crynux DAO governance. Current tokenomics specify a total supply of 8,617,333,262 CNX, distributed through testnet allocations, bootstrap mining and task-based mining.

Crynux maintains open-source node software, smart contracts, developer SDKs and APIs for integrating decentralized AI computation into external applications.
